As part of their feature tied to mental health at work, Fast Company asked me to share the seven ways I drew purpose and strength from my lifelong chronic illness, Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease (CMT). CMT is a degenerative neurological disorder affecting the body’s peripheral nervous system. CMT affects over three million people globally. There are currently no treatments available.
