As part of their feature tied to mental health at work, Fast Company asked me to share the seven ways I drew purpose and strength from my lifelong chronic illness, Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease (CMT). CMT is a degenerative neurological disorder affecting the body’s peripheral nervous system. CMT affects over three million people globally. There are currently no treatments available. The article provides insights that anyone who suffers from chronic illness in their daily life can utilize.
